Effective January 1,
2007, the state of Nevada began providing assistance with the cost
of prescription medicines to qualified individuals with
disabilities. Eligibility requirements are:

Age 18 through
61 with verifiable disability

Nevada resident
continuously for at lest the last 12 months
-
Annual income
no more than $24,561 for singles and $32,742 for couples
Disability Rx Enrollment
for Nevada’s Disability Rx
prescription program is open. Unfortunately, a limited amount of
funding is available and a waiting list has been established. As
funds become available, the lowest household income designated
on the waiting list will receive priority for enrollment.
