Each service area has at least one New Baby Center (NBC),
which strives to provide a comfortable "homey" feeling where
parents can bring their baby or toddler and interact with
other parents. In addition to informal opportunities for
networking, parents can attend any of the following
scheduled activities: informative classes and workshops on a
variety of parenting topics including infant CPR and infant
massage, play groups to assist in the development of
socialization skills, and support groups that include
working parents and single parents. Each center provides a
calendar and newsletter, which list upcoming events. Click
