. Family Resource Centers (FRCs)
were established by legislation in 1995 (NRS
430A). The state is divided into 18 Service Areas with an
FRC providing information, referrals, and case management to
residents in each Service Area. FRCs collaborate with local
and state agencies and organizations to help individuals and
families access needed services and support.
