THE FUND FOR HEALTHY NEVADA: Evaluating Efforts to Improve Health Care for Children and Services for Persons with Disabilities

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

Grantees were selected for their expertise and commitment to improving children's health and serving persons with disabilities. However, everyone can benefit from new training and learning experiences, which is why The Fund supports technical assistance and training. Technical assistance can include cluster calls that link grantees to their colleagues, using the grantee website bulletin board, attending regional workshops, and using a survey to best identify their needs.

Training and technical assistance will be available to all grantees to assist them in selecting Uniform Measures and the tools that will best serve them in reporting on progress toward achieving those Uniform Measures (For more information about Uniform Measures or examples of Uniform Measures please see the Evaluation Plan section of this site). Training and Technical Assistance will be provided in a variety of ways to ensure the successful implementation of the evaluation tools and processes. Training events will be customized for a variety of key stakeholder groups and these groups will participate with peers in the training opportunities. Materials will be developed that provide tangible examples using the Fund for a Healthy Nevada grantees.

There are multiple ways in which Grantees will have access to training and technical assistance, as well as ways in which training and technical assistance needs will be identified and addressed. A team of consultants is coordinating technical assistance. To contact them click here.
