Nevada 211 app announced

Carson City May 28, 2020

The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services has announced the release of a Nevada 211 app to help more Nevadans connect with the resources they need.

Nevada 211, a free service that includes information about health and human service programs and resources that are available throughout the state, can be accessed online at Nevada211.org, by dialing 2-1-1 or by texting your zip code to 898211.

“Nevada 211 has been a valuable resource for many years and while people are struggling with the impact of COVID-19 on their day-to-day lives, the addition of an app makes it even easier to help Nevadans find the resources they need,” said Nevada 211 Coordinator Jennifer White. “Everything that can be found on the website or by calling is now available in a convenient phone app.”

Money Management International (MMI) administers the program and additional information can be found in the press release attached.

Available in the Apple App Store and Google Play, the Nevada 211 app is free to download.
