SFY2019-2020 Request for Applications (RFA)


This Request for Applications (RFA) is for competitive proposals to be funded through the following sources:

  • State of Nevada, Children's Trust Fund
  • State of Nevada, Fund for a Healthy Nevada
  • Federal Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention
  • Federal Social Services Block Grant, Title XX

This RFA is published and administered by the Grant Management Unit (GMU) in the Director's Office of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS-DO).

RFA Questions and Answers (Q&A)

The Q & A document contains questions that were asked and answered during the orientation webinars held on January 27 and January 30, as well as questions that have been received since the RFA was published on January 23. This document will be updated as often as possible to include all questions that are received.

The deadline for submitting substantive questions about the RFA is 5 pm February 10.
Technical questions regarding the application portal or form can be submitted throughout the timeline. Application submission deadline is 5 pm March 10. After this time, the system will not allow submissions.

Grant Period Year One: July 1, 2019 - June 30, 2020

Grant Period Year Two: July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021
