SFY 2018-2019 Request for Applications (RFA) - Problem Gambling Fund


February 17, 2017 - The Grant Management Unit (GMU) in the Department of Health and Human Services, Director's Office, has issued a Request for Applications (RFA) for grants funded from the Revolving Account to Support Programs for the Prevention and Treatment of Problem Gambling, also referred to as the Problem Gambling Fund.

Proposals are being accepted in three program areas within the field of problem gambling: Treatment, Prevention, and Workforce Development. Each program area has a distinct RFA which is provided in both PDF and Word Document file formats (see links below).

Note: Potential applicants MUST REGISTER and PARTICIPATE IN a mandatory RFA Orientation to be provided via online webinar Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 1:30 PM PST. Information on registering for the webinar is included in the RFA; it is also posted further below on this page for your convenience. The online application will only be accessible to those who have participated in the mandatory orientation. No questions about the RFA will be answered prior to the orientation. 

 

    * RFA Questions and Answers (Q & A)

    A Q & A document containing questions that are asked and answered during the orientation webinar on February 23, as well as questions that are received after the orientation, will be maintained on this webpage and updated as often as possible to include all questions that are received.

    The deadline for submitting substantive questions about the RFA is 5 pm Monday, March 6. Technical questions regarding the application portal or form can be submitted throughout the timeline.

    RFA Orientation Webinar - Attendance is mandatory for all potential applicants

    • Thursday, February 23, 2017, 1:30 - 3:30 PM, Pacific Standard Time (PST)

    The orientation will be presented online via webinar. Register by sending an email to GSulhoff@dhhs.nv.gov. Registration is necessary in order to obtain the log-in information for the webinar.

    Application Open Date:
    Friday, February 24, 2017 by 5:00 PM PST


    Submission Close Date:
    Friday, March 31, 2017, 5:00 PM PST

    Note: the online application portal will automatically close at 5 PM. No submissions can be accepted once the portal is closed.

    Deadline for Submitting Substantive Questions about the RFA:
