RAVE provides respite to those who care for young and adult children with special needs, disabilities, or those in foster families; giving them the gift of time back into their lives! And it is at NO COST to families! The current Respite Voucher program is good for all over Northern Nevada.

Amplify Life
We host recreational programs (Camp Lotsafun) for people with special needs. Our programs allow participants to experience the adventure of camp and the great outdoors while working towards specific developmental achievements. Our programs benefit any child, teen, or adult with an intellectual, developmental, learning, communication, and/or emotional disability.
Bridgelink: Advocate, Educate, Assist

Our mission as a nonprofit, family support organization, is anchored on our combined passion and vision to assist families with unique needs and requirements.  Our task is straightforward.  Find the need and meet the need.  We have created a special and talented team of people to serve the families of Nevada.  We have developed an assessment program to discover those needs and create a strategic plan developed by a team of trainers in a forum.  We believe in limitless possibilities and aspire to collaborate with the family to attain the very best outcome.  Serving all Northern Nevada's Special Needs Families.

Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD)
CARD provides services to patients of all ages across all settings.  All CARD clinicians and behavior technicians are board certified and have undergone extensive training in ABA and autism spectrum disorder.  The CARD program includes comprehensive and cutting-edge curricula that can be tailored to the specific needs of individuals from birth through adulthood. These programs help individuals learn to communicate, develop friendships, and lead happy, healthy lives.  With locations in Las Vegas and Reno.
CARE Chest of Sierra Nevada
CARE Chest offers a variety of free medical resources, from equipment and supplies, prescription assistance, and medical nutrition to wellness education. CARE Chest also connects clients with resources like home and vehicle modifications and assistive technology

Down Syndrome Network of Northern Nevada
The DSNNN is a network of individuals with Down syndrome, their parents, families and friends, offering support, direction, services and resources to individuals and families affected by Down syndrome.
Eagle Valley Children's Home - RESPITE Program
The Respite Program provides support to families or primary caregivers of people with developmental disabilities through temporary, short-term care of the dependent person in the family's home. Both planned and emergency respites are available. The Respite program addresses the long-term, repetitive stress felt by caregivers of developmentally disabled people who reside in the family home.
Early Childhood Autism Program - UNR
University of Nevada, Reno Early Childhood Autism Program. Our speciality is early intensive behavioral intervention for young, preschool aged children with autism. The program offers a comprehensive, individualized home-based intervention that seeks to normalize all aspects of a child's psychological development. The scientific principles and established practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) are at the core of the program.
F.E.A.T. of The Carson Valley
F.E.A.T. or "Families for Effective Autism Treatment" is an organization in the Carson Valley that was formed to support and help families with children who have received the diagnosis of Autism.
Impact ABA Services
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy is individualized, and often intensive, therapy designed to effectively target and change socially significant behavior.  Impact ABA Services' mission is to provide outstanding ABA therapy to children with autism and other developmental disabilities.  Our mission, however, goes further.  We are committed to education and the dissemination of the science of Applied Behavior Analysis.
JUSTin HOPE Foundation

Northern Nevada Cleft Palate Clinic is a multi-disciplinary health care team housed within the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology at the University of Nevada in Reno. The team is dedicated to the care and treatment of children with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial disorders. The goal of this clinic is to provide free services to patients in need without the need to make multiple appointments with individual professionals.
Northern Nevada Disability Resource Network (NNVDRN)
Northern Nevada Disability Resources Network (NNVDRN) is a resource Network connecting people with disabilities, seniors, and veterans to service providers/support in Northern Nevada communities.  NNVDRN believes everyone should have access to information, services and quality health care.

Peanut Butter & Jellyfish - swimming, climbing, and yoga classes!
We welcome all children and gladly accept students with  special needs in our inclusive group classes as well as private adaptive lessons. Depending on your child's needs we have different options available Peanut Butter & Jellyfish offers swimming, climbing, and yoga classes for kids of all abilities ages 0-12. We work with parents to set up private or group classes that meet the needs of each child.

Sierra Therapeutic Equestrian Program
The Sierra Therapeutic Equestrian Program, Inc. (STEP, Inc.) is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting individuals in our local community who are dealing with physical, mental, emotional or educational special needs. By providing therapeutic horseback riding services to those with both special needs and able bodies, ages 4 to 104, STEP strives to enhance the lives of all individuals.

The LEARNING CONSULTANTS
The LEARNING CONSULTANTS is a collection of experts in behavior, language, and parenting.  We want to help guide you through the uncertain waters of parenting by giving you and your child tools to be successful and independent.   Among our consultants are potty-training experts, language development and social play experts, parent training experts and early academic experts.  We have extensive experience working with children who are typically functioning as well as those with learning, developmental, and academic delays.

University Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment (UCAN) - UNR
UCAN provides a free, extensive, transdisciplinary assessment and differential diagnostic services for children suspected of having autism spectrum disorder and other related neurodevelopmental disabilities. The team is composed of professionals from a wide array of disciplines including child psychiatry, clinical psychology, school psychology, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and developmental pediatrics. The UCAN team provides three assessments per month. Every family is provided individualized care, including case management, designed to access vital community services and treatment.
Washoe County School District's (WCSD) Child Find Project
The Child Find Project’s objective is to identify students, ages 3 to 21, who may be eligible for special education services. Referrals for evaluations/assessments must be initiated by parents, guardians or surrogates. A team of professionals will assess the child to determine if he or she is eligible for special education services. An Individual Education Program (IEP) is then developed for each child who qualifies. Child Find services are available year-round by calling (775) 327-0685

Behavior Essentials
Behavior Essentials was founded to help bridge the gap between an autism diagnosis and ABA therapy.  Our team works to help families address challenging behaviors and plan their autism journey through education and empowerment.  Behavior Essentials offers initial complimentary consultations and accepts Medicaid, ATAP, Tri-Care and offers a sliding scale for those without a funding source.

Henderson Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD)
CARD's primary objective is to provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment to individuals of all ages diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). CARD’s comprehensive assessment and curriculum are used to develop individualized behavioral treatment plans that address each individual’s specific deficits across all developmental areas.

Desert Regional Center
Also known as DRC, is the State of Nevada operated regional center located in the Las Vegas area and serving Clark and parts of Lincoln and Nye Counties. We assist persons with developmental disabilities and their families.
Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada
DSOSN promotes a positive understanding of Down syndrome in the community and is a source of support, information and education for families and individuals affected by Down syndrome.
Dr. Pinocchio Pediatric Wellness Center
Individual therapy sessions involve initial evaluation, development of goals and a treatment plan to best meet your child’s individual needs.  The Center utilizes a family-centered approach as a guiding tool in each interaction with your child. Areas addressed include, but not limited to: Fine Motor Development; Gross Motor Development; Sensory Integration; Emotional Regulation; Feeding and Mealtime Participation; Social Development; Sleep; Potty Training; Speech & Communication.
F.E.A.T. of Southern Nevada
'Families for Effective Autism Treatment' is a non-profit organization made up predominately of parents of children with autism. The primary purpose is to provide families the opportunity to network with each other and share advice, support and information.
Foundation for Positively Kids
Southern Nevada's resource center for medically dependent children and their families, providing an array of services and programs to meet their needs.
Grant A Gift Autism Foundation
Grant a Gift Autism Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides diagnostic community programs and support services for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and the families who support and care for them.
Healthy Minds
We have a diverse team of mental health experts (psychiatrists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, clinical social workers, and marriage and family therapists).  We provide evaluations, therapy & treatments, psychological testing & assessment, training & consultation, as well as free online support groups. Healthy Minds is offering individual, family, group therapy for children, teenagers, and adults for mental health and substance abuse problems. All of our services are available online from home via telehealth.
Inclusion Fusion

Inclusion Fusion offers programs for individuals ages 3 and younger such as: 

- Mommy & Me Playgroup Class: Every Saturday from 1:00-1:30 pm

- Shooting Stars Dance Class: Every Saturday from 1:30-2:00 pm 

- Life Skills 1:1 (Assisting with toileting, brushing teeth, etc).

- Academic Readiness (Learning Colors, Shapes, Communication, etc).

Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada
Legal Aid Center is a private, nonprofit, organization that ensures equal access to justice through free legal advice and representation for those who cannot afford to hire an attorney. Free classes are offered in special education, bankruptcy, divorce, paternity/custody, small claims, and guardianship.  Service areas include domestic violence, child abuse, consumer fraud and social security.
Lili Claire Foundation
The Lili Claire Foundation provides hope, answers and help to special needs children and their families. Our Family Resource Centers facilitate parent and professional collaboration and interagency coordination by providing support and information concerning medical treatment, social services, and educational, financial and legal rights.
Little Miss Hannah Foundation
Little Miss Hannah Foundation - The Foundations’ mission is to help enhance the quality of life for young children diagnosed with life-limiting rare diseases, undiagnosed complex medical needs, and children who have been placed in hospice or palliative care. Provides medical and therapy equipment assistance, hospital care bags, rare disease advocacy, and family support.
Memra Emergency Relief Services
Our mission is to provide assistance and resources to help individuals medically, emotionally, socially, financially when experiencing an illness, hardship, tragedy or devastation. Medical Supplies - Hospital Bed Equipment, Wheelchairs & Walkers, Incontinence Supplies & Other Products. Referrals requesting assistance must be received from a local professional City, County, State or Government Agency. Referrals must also provide supporting documents. After receiving your application and all necessary documents, your referral is pending approval for charitable assistance. Individuals must be a Nevada residence with a valid photo ID, drivers license, school or government issued photo identification card.
Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation
Provides information and services that enable families, healthcare professionals, and the community to understand and meet the unique needs of infants and children who are blind or visually impaired.
