Nevada Aging and Disability Services Division Launches New Brand

Goal is to better serve Nevadans and strengthen community connections

Carson City, NV June 04, 2025

In an effort to better serve Nevadans across all ages and abilities, the Nevada Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) has launched a new brand identity that embodies the division’s mission to empower individuals to live fulfilling, independent lives, and reflects its commitment to connecting Nevadans of all ages and abilities to vital services.

The new brand features a modern logo, vibrant visuals, and a fresh voice that reflects ADSD’s commitment to inclusivity, dignity and support for all Nevadans. The goal of this rebranding — to inform as many Nevadans as possible about ADSD’ services and programs — comes after months of extensive research, community engagement, and collaboration with stakeholders across the state to ensure that the new identity resonates with the diverse populations the division serves.

“This new brand is more than just a logo. We’re all going to grow older, and all of our family members and loved ones will as well, so it’s really important to me and our team that we get that information out to the communities so people can plan for the future, instead of having to wait for a crisis,” ADSD Administrator Dena Schmidt said. “It’s about making sure that individuals know where to turn for help, and that we are here to support them with warmth, accessibility and compassion. This change reflects our ongoing dedication to creating a stronger, more connected community for everyone, no matter their age or ability.”

ADSD plays a vital role by providing services that support Nevadans across their entire lifespan. From Nevada Early Intervention Services for children with disabilities, to Adult Protective Services for vulnerable adults, to the Long-Term Care Ombudsman for seniors in care facilities, ADSD is committed to ensuring that all individuals have access to the resources they need to live independently and with dignity.

The division’s programs will now showcase a cohesive, updated look, allowing for better recognition and understanding of the services available. The new brand will be visible across digital platforms, print materials, and a statewide awareness campaign that is set to launch in June.

"Respect, accountability, inclusivity and advocacy are the foundation of everything we do," ADSD project manager Miles Quilici said. “Our new brand identity reinforces these values, strengthening our commitment to serving with integrity and purpose.
